JOHN'S VW MK1 CADDY

John's Mk1 VW Caddy came to us with some accident damage, previous dubious repairs and a few corrosion issues.

 

After inspecting the damage and corrosion we cut out all the bent and bad metal, along with some previous incorrect repairs and welding in a new chassis rail, 3 new cross members, a new rear panel, a new lower rear window panel, O/S inner and outer sills, and a complete new cargo bed. Along with those complete panels we also carried out repairs to both inner and outer arches.

 

With the vehicle straight and solid again we then treated the underside and load bed with Raptor Bed Lining, restored and re-fitted the fuel tank, re-installed the axle with new bushes and re-built the brake using new parts where necessary.
